ILIA True Skin Serum Concealer

Hola beauties! Welcome back ❤

Hey hey, my name is Faith and today I posted a video on ILIA’s True Skin Serum Concealer. You guys really seemed to enjoy the ILIA Foundation video I put out, so I thought why not try the concealer and make the quality of the video MUCH better. Plus I’m actually in need of a new concealer.

I really love all of these concealers and I actually wore all three concealers + fenty beauty’s bronzer (I also made a video on that click here to watch) and hourglass’ setting powder while helping my cousin get ready for prom.

Swatches!

Initial thoughts

I was soo so so much happier with this concealer than ILIA’s foundation and that’s because my skin is textured so the lightweight foundation just didn’t suit my needs. This concealer is beautiful. I think they could expand their colors a little more, but they blend beautifully, apply very very nicely, work well with finger and brush application and yeah I have nothing bad to say about this foundation. What I loved most about this concealer: it has a smooth consistency, but it’s not cake-y (which works wonders on my textured skin) AND there colors are very neutral as opposed to warm or cool (which is great for me because my undertones are neutral). If you prefer a cooler or warmer finish without adding foundation then I’d recommend adding a setting powder with a color you desire.

How does it preform with various foundations?

So I did prime my skin with my favorite primer: First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer. And I set it with the Hourglass Mineral Veil Setting Powder.

It wears really nicely on top of water based foundations by ELF (click here for a review on this foundation) and Beauty Bakerie (click here for a review on this foundation).

Thank you!! ❤ ❤
